May at Genome Dynamics course
Author: May Krause
Just wrapped up an incredible week at Genome Dynamics 2026 in Paris.
An international course on cell identity, regulation and evolution at Institut Curie - covering genome architecture, epigenomics, mobile DNA and cancer genomics. I learned a huge amount from the presentations, and being in Paris didn’t hurt either - including a visit to the Musée Curie, which was a highlight.
On my end, I gave an elevator pitch, presented a poster on my PhD work, and contributed to a round table on the environmental impact of lab research, presenting on the bioinformatics side. But the best part was the people - meeting PhD students, postdocs and PIs from across Europe and beyond, all working on fascinating problems.
A big thank you to the organisers, sponsors, and my supervisors for making this possible.
